Discussion categories help organize conversations into logical “buckets” of content, making it easier for future members of our community to find your content. This guide will help you understand the discussion categories in the Level Data Community.
If you're still unsure about the categories after reading this guide, don't worry. We're here to make sure your question or idea gets to the right place after you post. The most important thing is that you participate!
There are three main discussion categories in the Level Data Community, each with several sub-categories. Each sub-category includes a "What can I find in this category" post, so be sure to check those out.
Here is a list of the three main categories with all sub-categories inside the Level Data Community:
Community HQ
- Water Cooler Talk: Introduce yourself, ask questions about the community, start virtual "water cooler chats", and get to know each other!
- News & Announcements: Be the first to know all the latest updates: product updates, support announcements, company news, upcoming events, etc.
- Known Issues (registered members only): Get detailed information about any known issues or bugs in the Level Data products.
- Job Board: Browse available opportunities for roles requiring experience with Level Data products.
The Community HQ category is ideal for new members or those seeking news and information about Level Data and our community.
Learn & Share
- Product Q&A: Ask questions and get answers about Level Data products.
- Product Tips & Tricks: Share your tips, tricks, and best practices with the Level Data Community. Don’t let that knowledge go to waste…share it with the world!
- Show & Tell: Created something you’re proud of? Share it here. Bonus points if it’s related to Level Data, but we’ll accept anything relevant to data management. Have you written a book? Featured in a podcast? We want to know!
- Let’s Talk Shop: For data professionals to ask questions and start conversations around data integration, management, and analysis.
- Integrations & APIs: Have technical questions? Whether you're an aspiring developer or want to understand the language better with your IT team, this is the place to discuss.
- HTML & CSS: Share how you've customized Level Data products with HTML & CSS.
- Generative AI & ChatGPT: Discuss how generative AI and ChatGPT are transforming data management and share tips, ideas, best practices, and experiences.
The Learn & Share category is the heart and soul of the Level Data Community. This is where members will spend the majority of their time.

The Feedback & Requests category allows you to provide valuable feedback directly to Level Data, helping us shape the future of our products and community experience.
You can view all the discussion categories in the community at any time by scrolling down to the Community content feed and selecting the Discussion Categories tab. Use the arrows on the right side to open and close each main category (Community HQ, Learn & Share, and Feedback & Requests) to view all the sub-categories.
